Gujarat Giants face Tamil Thalaivas in match 66 of Pro Kabaddi Season 8 at the Sheraton Grand, Whitefield in Bengaluru on Thursday. 

Both teams are coming off a tie in their respective previous fixtures of the tournament. 

Gujarat played a 24-24 tie against U Mumba on Tuesday. Ajay Kumar starred with seven points including a tackle point while Girish Ernak scored three points in defence. Rakesh Narwal contributed six raid points in the match. 

For Tamil Thalaivas, Manjeet was the top performer with nine raid points in their 31-31 tie against Jaipur Pink Panthers on Sunday. Defender Sagar contributed with four tackle points. 

Both sides have played 10 matches in the season so far with Gujarat Giants at the 10th spot in the PKL standings with 23 points while Tamil Thalaivas are seventh with 30 points. 

For Gujarat Giants, Rakesh Sungroya has been the best raider with 79 raid points across 10 matches whereas Parvesh Bhainswal has been the top defender with 24 tackle points. 

Manjeet has been the top raider for Tamil Thalaivas with 72 raid points across nine matches this season. On the other hand, captain Surjeet Singh has led the charts for defenders with 39 tackle points.
