Gujarat Giants take on U Mumba in match 63 of Pro Kabaddi Season 8 at the Sheraton Grand, Whitefield in Bengaluru on Tuesday. 

Gujarat Giants went down 37-46 to Bengaluru Bulls in their last match on Friday. Rakesh Sungroya was the top scorer for the team with 14 raid points while Parvesh Bhainswal and Sunil Kumar were the best defenders with four tackle points each. Substitute Pradeep Kumar also contributed with six raid points in the match. 

Meanwhile, U Mumba played a thrilling 32-32 tie against defending champions Bengal Warriors in their previous encounter on Saturday. Abhishek Singh starred with 13 raid points while Fazel Atrachali contributed with three tackle points. 

Gujarat Giants are currently placed at the penultimate position in the PKL standings with 20 points from nine outings. Their opponents, U Mumba are placed seventh with 28 points across 10 matches. 

Rakesh Sungroya has been the best raider for Gujarat Giants this season with 77 raid points across nine matches whereas Parvesh Bhainswal with 22 tackle points has been the top defender. 

On the other hand, Abhishek Singh has been U Mumba’s lead raider with 82 raid points from 10 matches while Rinku has been their best defender with 25 tackle points.
