Two-time Vivo Pro Kabaddi runners up, Gujarat Fortune Giants will kickstart their 2019 campaign against last year's champion, Bengaluru Bulls at Hyderabad on 21st July 2019 looking to avenge last year’s finals defeat.

The Pro Kababbi League has released its schedule for Season 7, set to be played between July 20 and October 19. With an interesting tweak in the format this year, our giants are set to face every other team twice in the campaign. Top 2 teams will go directly to the semis, while the teams ranked 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th will face off in eliminators.

Gujarat Fortune Giants will play their first two games at Hyderabad. The Giants will then travel to Mumbai to face Dabang Delhi KC and U Mumbai on 1st and 2nd August respectively.

The game between Gujarat Fortune Giants and U Mumba will be very enticing because our giants hold a 5-1 winning ratio against the Season 2 champions and 3x finalists. With their Season 6 best raider, Siddharth Desai, transferred to Telugu Titans, U Mumba’s raiding looks inexperienced.

U Mumba’s loss is Telugu Titans gain who bought him in the auction for a whopping 1.45 Crores and that is why when Gujarat takes on Telugu Titans in Ahmedabad in the opening match of their home leg it would also be a clash of the winner of the Best Debutants of the last 2 seasons in Sachin Tanwar and Siddharth Desai.

One of the biggest games of the season would be when Gujarat faces Patna Pirates on the 23rd of August in Chennai. It will be a mouth-watering battle between the dynamic raiding duo of Sachin and Rohit Gulia against Patna’s mighty Pardeep Narwal and Jang Kun Lee, but Patna will have to find a defender to match best cover pairing in Sunil Kumar and Parvesh Bhainswal.

With every team playing each other twice this season, there is no doubt that the best 4 teams would make it through to the play off’s and Gujarat Fortune Giants look hungrier than ever to grab the coveted trophy on the 19th of October.
