Gujarat Giants will lock horns with in-form Puneri Paltan in their do-or-die Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) Season 9 match at the Gachibowli Indoor Stadium in Hyderabad on Tuesday, November 29.

The two-time PKL finalists Gujarat Giants will be desperate to end their six-match losing streak and secure a much-needed victory over Puneri Paltan in order to stay alive in Pro Kabaddi Season 9.

The Giants head into the Puneri Paltan fixture after succumbing to a heartbreaking 39-42 defeat against Tamil Thalaivas in their last game on Sunday.

Having registered five wins, 11 defeats and one tie, the Ram Mehar Singh-coached Giants are currently placed 11th in the PKL Season 9 standings with 36 points from 17 matches so far.

Meanwhile, star all-rounder Parteek Dahiya has been one of the standout players for the Giants in the ongoing season. Parteek has been in magnificent form, picking 113 raid points in 14 matches and will hope to continue his impressive form against Puneri Paltan in Hyderabad.

On the other hand, Puneri Paltan have been the most dominant side in the ninth edition of Pro Kabaddi as they became the first team to book their place in the playoffs.

Led by Iranian kabaddi player Fazel Atrachali, the Puneri Paltan are currently at the top of the PKL Season 9 standings with 69 points from 18 games. Puneri Paltan defeated Telugu Titans 38-25 in their previous fixture and are currently on a five-match winning streak.
