We had a blistering start to our campaign, winning the first three games but the next three games did not go in our favour. What has been impressive though is that we gave tough fights in all three losses. Our upcoming clash in Chennai for our seventh game of the tournament against the U.P. Yoddhas presents an opportunity to regain the winning momentum.

In our recent match against the Haryana Steelers, we faced an uphill battle after trailing 17-10 at half-time. Despite the scoreline, we showcased our resilience with a strong comeback, although narrowly missing a win by just two points. Eager to reverse the recent setbacks, we aim to capitalize on our squad's potential to secure a victory against the U.P. Yoddhas. Talking about our players, Sombir has been brilliant for us while Sonu is in great form at the moment. Now, we will hope for a complete team effort to get back to winning ways.

On the other side, the U.P. Yoddhas, captained by Pardeep Narwal, have encountered a mixed bag of results, winning two matches, losing three, and drawing one out of their six games so far. Their last match against the Jaipur Pink Panthers ended in a 41-24 defeat, indicating their vulnerability despite their strengths. We shouldn't underestimate the Yoddhas' capabilities in this upcoming fixture as they are a very good side.

Looking at our head-to-head encounters, we have dominated the Yoddhas in the past, winning five out of the nine clashes. Last season, both teams secured one victory each. This is a new season though and past history won’t matter. The fans can expect a thrilling encounter.
