Gujarat Giants’ tenth outing of PKL Season 12 turned out to be a tough night in the arena as they went down 25-40 against U Mumba at the end of full time. The Giants fought till the very end, displaying grit and intent, but the match simply did not go our way despite flashes of brilliance on both ends of the mat.

Ankit Dahiya consistently caused trouble for the U Mumba defense, creating scoring opportunities and keeping the scoreboard ticking. His fearless approach right through the game gave the Giants confidence in attack and kept the fans cheering.

The defence had a few bright moments, with Lucky Sharma playing a key role in two Super Tackles that gave the Giants some much-needed momentum. Shadloui also added support with a couple of timely raids, helping the team stay in the contest and keep looking for opportunities.

While the night didn’t belong to the Giants as a team effort, Viswanth made sure the match ended on a strong note. His powerful contribution towards the end of the game brought energy back on the mat, reflecting the never-give-up spirit we are known for.

This may not have been our best performance of the season, but the resilience and fight shown by the team are positives to carry forward.
