Gujarat Giants play Bengaluru Bulls in match 99 of Pro Kabaddi Season 8 at the Sheraton Grand, Whitefield in Bengaluru on Sunday.

Gujarat Giants went down 23-43 against Patna Pirates in their previous fixture on Saturday. Sunil Kumar and Co. failed to capitalise on their aggressive start as they squandered the advantage after gaining an early eight-point lead. 

Mahendra Rajput scored six points including two tackle points while Parvesh Bhainswal and Sunil Kumar scored two tackle points each. Pardeep Kumar contributed with four points in the match. 

Meanwhile, Bengaluru Bulls tied 36-36 against season 7 runners-up Dabang Delhi K.C. in a cliffhanger. Pawan Sehrawat scored 17 points including a tackle point while Saurabh Nandal and Ankit scored two tackle points each. 

Bengaluru Bulls have won just one of their last four PKL matches this season compared to Gujarat who have managed to win twice. Desperate for wins, the Giants will hope to get past Pawan Sehrawat and Co. in this crucial encounter and rise up the standings. 

Gujarat Giants (474) have conceded the least number of points amongst all teams this season while Bengaluru with 629 have conceded the most. The Giants are also amongst the top five teams with the most number of points (53) scored in do-or-die raids this season. Meanwhile, their opponents Bengaluru have scored the least points (24) in do-or-die raids.

Gujarat are placed at the 11th spot in the PKL standings with 38 points across 15 matches while Bengaluru are placed at the third position with 54 points in 18 outings.
