Gujarat Giants went down 31-36 against Jaipur Pink Panthers in their previous fixture on Monday. Trailing by 10 points in the second half, Sunil Kumar and Co. put up a brave effort to reduce the deficit to under five but failed to seal the match in the final few minutes. Rakesh Narwal was the top scorer for the team with eight points including two tackle points while Parvesh Bhainswal ended with four tackle points.
Meanwhile, Telugu Titans tied 32-32 against Bengal Warriors in their last encounter. Ankit Beniwal scored eight raid points Akash Choudhary and Sandeep Kandola scored three tackle points each.
Rakesh Sungroya has been the best raider for Gujarat Giants this season with 93 raid points in 16 outings including three super 10s. He scored 16 raid points the last time two sides clashed earlier this season.
