We’ve finally announced our arrival in PKL 12 with a GIANT 37-28 win over Tamil Thalaivas, securing our first success of the campaign in emphatic style.

After two challenging outings, our Giants showed exactly what we’re here for, delivering an all-round performance that left no room for doubt.

At the heart of this victory was all-rounder Nitin Panwar, who turned the tide with a sensational display of defensive brilliance. Inflicting three Super Tackles in the match, Nitin was a wall the Thalaivas simply could not break through. His fearless interventions proved pivotal in ensuring the Giants stayed in control from start to finish.

The evening also saw the return of the Showstopper himself, who roared back to form with five raid points and a successful tackle. His leadership, coupled with his #GhusKarMaarenge mood on the mat, where he also completed 100 raid points in PKL history, set the tone for a dominant performance.

Moreover, continuing his fine run, Rakesh Sungroya chipped in with six raid points, once again proving his consistency in the raid department. Adding to the firepower, teenage sensation Shridhar Kadam stepped up brilliantly off the bench, contributing three raid points and three tackle points to underline the depth of this squad.

The Giants stamped authority early on, taking a commanding 18-12 lead at half-time. Needless to say, there was no letting go this time out. The team mirrored the first-half aggression in the following half, never allowing the opposition to claw their way back. At full-time, the scoreboard read 37-28, sealing a terrific W.

With momentum finally on our side, we now sail into the next challenge versus the Jaipur Pink Panthers on September 9. The confidence is soaring, the spirit is unshaken and the roar is only getting louder.
