As we approach our sixteenth clash of PKL 12, anticipation is running high within the squad and among the Giant Army. We’re set to take on the Telugu Titans in a high-stakes encounter on 19 October at 7.30 PM, at the Thyagaraj Indoor Stadium, Delhi.
The last time we went head-to-head with the Titans, it was a nail-biter that truly tested us. Despite a spirited performance, we narrowly lost by just one point in a match that could have swung either way. That evening also marked a significant personal milestone for our all-rounder Mohammadreza Shadloui, who made his 100th PKL appearance. Coming off the bench, Shadloui sparked a remarkable resurgence in the second half with six swift raid points, fuelling a sense of belief across our lines.
Yet, even in defeat, our resolve shone through. Raiders and defenders alike rose to the occasion, producing unwavering support for each other throughout every raid and tackle. The energy and unity within the team during such intense stretches are what continue to define our campaign, regardless of the result.
Reflecting on our historic duel with the Titans, the head-to-head record tells a familiar story. Out of 13 meetings, we’ve walked away victorious on 10 occasions, with not a single match ending in a tie. This sustained dominance stands as added motivation for us.
The journey is far from over, and with every raid and tackle, we renew our commitment to victory. Once a Giant, always a Giant, let’s make every moment count!
