We couldn’t have asked for a better start to the VIVO Pro Kabaddi Season 7 campaign as we emerged victorious against the defending champions.

After a staggering win against the Bulls, our Giants will now face UP Yoddha at the Gachibowli Indoor Stadium in Hyderabad on Friday. We have an unbeaten record against the Yoddhas in the VIVO PKL, and that gives us a huge mental boost heading into Friday’s match.

Both attack and defence came to the party on Sunday and a similar performance will be expected against the Yoddhas.

Our defence led by Sunil Kumar kept the Bulls’ attack on their toes throughout the match and the Giants will be looking to do the same to Rishank Devadiga and Srikant Jadav, the main raiders of U.P. Yoddha. Skipper Sunil has had fantastic outings against the Yoddhas in the past, securing an impressive 11 tackle points in three matches including a High 5.

Sunil will be supported by his partner in crime Parvesh and the highly-rated Ruturaj Koravi in their bid to tackle the Yoddhas’ attacking unit.

Sachin Tanwar took 7 raid points against the Bulls and he will continue to be our driving force in the raiding department. Sachin got great backup from Rohit Gulia, Sonu Jaglan and Sumit, and our beloved coach Manpreet will be banking on the trio to secure vital raid points in Friday’s match.

In his debut match, Sonu took the mat by storm, and after securing 5 raid points, it will be interesting to see if he produces another stunner against the Yoddhas.

GB More 

Though hailed as a raider, GB More pulled the strings in both attack and defense. His rock solid all round show against the Bulls was an indication of what’s to come throughout the season.

Key Battle

Sachin Tanwar vs Rishank Devadiga

Our fans will be looking forward to see the battle of the two powerhouse raiders in Friday’s match.Though Rishank didn’t play against Bengal Warriors on Wednesday, he is expected to return to the starting 7 against the Giants. Both raiders hold the key to their teams chances of victory, but we have complete faith in Sachin to pull it off for us.
