Gujarat Giants have retained 15 players ahead of the TATA Women’s Premier League 2027,
strengthening the core of the squad as the franchise prepares for another season of competition

The retained group brings together a blend of leadership, experience, youth and match-winning ability,
providing a strong foundation for the campaign ahead.

Leading the charge is Ashleigh Gardner whose leadership and experience remain central to the Giants’
plans. The squad also retains the experience of Beth Mooney, Sophie Devine, Kim Garth, Georgia
Wareham, Renuka Singh Thakur and Rajeshwari Gayakwad, adding depth and versatility across
departments.

Behind the stumps, Yastika Bhatia continues with the Giants, bringing energy and reliability to the
wicketkeeping unit. With the ball, Kashvee Gautam remains an important part of the squad, adding pace
and firepower to the bowling attack.

The Giants are also backing their emerging talent, with Kanika Ahuja, Tanuja Kanwer, Jintimani Kalita
and Happy Kumari continuing their journey with the franchise.

Adding further depth to the batting unit are Bharti Fulmali and Anushka Sharma, both of whom bring
intent and the ability to make an impact when called upon.

Together, this group represents the continuity, belief and culture that Gujarat Giants are building as a
franchise. The retained players form the backbone of the team as the Giants look ahead to the TATA
WPL 2027 season.
